Soundstage 2: The Work

The Big 3 ~ The Stories That Will Start It All

Let me take you back to Hollywoodland, 1920. The Big 5: The main studios that made the Studio System as we know it today. They were big, brash, powerful, packed with a punch, and starting a revolution in Los Angeles: the birth of full-length feature film. In early Hollywood, The Big 5 included Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers Studios, M.G.M Studios, RKO Pictures, and 20th Century Fox. Under them, the smaller and less well-known studios were The Little 3: Universal Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and United Artists (which aren’t so little anymore). Today, most of them still remain, and are much bigger and more powerful than ever before. They have created the films that started it all, defined generations, and will stand the test of time. In 2020, there will be one more Studio on the rise. One that you may want to look out for… with stories of its own, one that packs a punch, and one that will birth a new revolution: creating film inspired by music. The Work is component one. In his work, C.W. has combined the power of The Big 5 and The Little 3 into, what he calls his “Front Gate.” They are full, finished stories that are inspired by music, and they are the work that C.W. hopes will stand that same test of time. You will pass along his work during the tour, so feel free to continue down the page to the end.

And don’t worry, you are not alone in this.

C.W. is here with you and will lead you about in the way he has intended.

You’ve met C.W. Studios and the father of the operation. Here, are his stories. Here are his babies.
